Southwest Airlines, Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association arrive at tentative agreement

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) has announced it has reached a Tentative Agreement with the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), which represents the Company´s 2,400 Employees in the Aircraft Mechanics and Related workgroup, the company said.

The agreement gives Employees improved compensation, a ratification bonus, and updated work rules.

AMFA will communicate directly to its membership about the ratification process. If the agreement is approved, the contract will become amendable April 1, 2023.

Dallas-based Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) delivers service to a Customer base topping 120 million passengers annually. Southwest became the nation´s largest domestic air carrier in 2003 and maintains that ranking based on the U.S. Department of Transportation´s most recent reporting of domestic originating passengers boarded.
