SoftBank gets new senior vice president and global head of communications

SoftBank Group Corp. has announced that Gary Ginsberg, formerly Executive Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Time Warner, will join SoftBank as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Communications, effective November 1, 2018, the company said.

Ginsberg will be based in SoftBank´s New York office and will report to Masayoshi Son, Chairman & CEO of SoftBank, and Marcelo Claure, Director, Executive Vice President COO of SoftBank and Chief Executive Officer of SoftBank Group International.

In this role, Ginsberg will be responsible for SoftBank´s corporate communications strategy and initiatives, overseeing all of the company´s external and internal global communications functions. Ginsberg will also work closely with SoftBank´s global portfolio of companies in support of the company´s efforts to ensure alignment and create value across the SoftBank ecosystem.
