PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. (OTC: PSSR) has chosen Dan Smiley to lead the expansion of PASSUR´s global air traffic management (ATM) initiatives, making available the current suite of PASSUR products to global airlines and airports, the company said.
Smiley was most recently Vice President of System Operations Services for the FAA where he led programs to ensure the safety, efficiency, and security of the national airspace system. He directed all national air traffic flow management initiatives along with policy and concept development for new airport surface flow management programs.
In his new role, Smiley will direct the global expansion of PASSUR´s air traffic optimization program and platform, bringing efficiency and capacity enhancement solutions currently used by the North American airlines and airports to aviation organizations around the world, while also extending PASSUR´s role with its current US-based airlines to include their international operations.
