Skyworks executive director named to Council on Competitiveness

Gyronautics expert Skyworks Global Inc. has announced that its Executive Director, retired Air Force Brig. Gen. John Michel, has been selected to join the prestigious Council on Competitiveness, the company said.

This influential think tank shapes policy and runs programs to jump-start productivity and grow America´s economy. The Council´s membership is diverse and nonpartisan, representing top leadership in the major sectors of the economy.

Michel is a renowned mobility futurist with a deep understanding of the challenges of, and potential solutions for, transportation issues around the globe.

In his new role with the Council on Competitiveness, Michel will focus on promoting innovation in all aspects of the mobility ecosystem, particularly, advanced air mobility platforms supporting sustainable aviation in the two thirds of the world currently without those capabilities.

The Council on Competitiveness is a nonpartisan leadership group of CEOs, university presidents, labor leaders and national laboratory directors working to ensure U.S. prosperity.

Skyworks Global Inc. is a leader in the study and design of sustained autorotative flight represented by the company´s gyroplane technology.
