SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW) has reported 2,198,960,020 in November 2016 revenue passenger miles (RPMs), compared to 2,337,528,226 in November 2015, a decrease of 5.9 percent, the company said.
The company reported 2,650,561,799 in available seat miles (ASM) in November 2016, compared to 2,858,166,684 in November 2015, a decrease of 7.3 percent.
SkyWest reported 148,707 block hours in November 2016, compared to 162,989 block hours in November 2015, a decrease of 14,282 or 8.8 percent. The company said the net decrease was consistent with SkyWest´s fleet transition plan to improve the mix of aircraft in its fleet by adding new E175 aircraft, while reducing its 50-seat jets.
In November 2016, SkyWest said its dual class aircraft represented approximately 44 percent of SkyWest´s total block hour production for the month compared to approximately 41% for the month of November 2015.
SkyWest said it reported 88,485 departures in November 2016 compared to 95,512 in November 2015, a decrease of 7,027, or 7.4 percent.
