Software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) company Viptela partner Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) has won the 2016 World Communication Award, Viptela said.
The Singtel ConnectPlus SD-WAN, powered by the Viptela Secure Extensible Network (SEN) platform, was recognized with the annual award, which is widely considered “the blue chip mark of success in the global telecom industry”. The awards ceremony was held recently in London.
Singtel ConnectPlus SD-WAN powered by Viptela simplifies enterprise WAN environments by establishing a unified network plane that spans disparate networks, from MPLS to Internet and metro Ethernet. While giving enterprises control through network segmentation for separate lines of business, partner networks, public WiFi access, etc. with end-to-end visibility, it enables organizations to centrally create, control and enforce policies throughout the network to meet performance requirements for different application types including voice, data and video.
Viptela´s platform allows global companies to build carrier agnostic, policy-controlled and cost-effective WANs.
