Silver Airways is starting new non-stop service between West Palm Beach and Bimini and one-stop service between Tampa and Bimini on April 20, 2017, the company said.
This marks the first time Palm Beach residents can travel directly to Bimini island without having to drive to Fort Lauderdale or Miami. In addition, Tampa area travelers will also benefit from the quick, one-stop connecting service to Bimini that this new route provides.
Bimini is located just 50 miles off Florida´s coast and for a limited time, travelers can fly there for less than USD 50. Bimini is the closest Bahamian island to the United States, boasting miles of pristine beaches.
Fort Lauderdale-based Silver Airways operates more routes within Florida, and between Florida and the Bahamas than any other airline. The airline averages 125 daily flights to 27 destinations in Florida (including hubs in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa) and the Bahamas.
