Securus Technologies buys Cara Clinicals

Securus Technologies said it has acquired Cara Clinicals, Inc. of Woodbury, Minnesota for an undisclosed all cash purchase price.

“We have partnered with Cara Clinicals, Inc. for several years, and our subsidiary Archonix has been very successful in selling electronic records systems since 2012,” said Richard A. Smith, CEO of Securus Technologies. “Cara Clinicals, Inc. fits perfectly with our software-based high tech product set and expands the jail management systems product set that Archonix has offered successfully to prisons and jails throughout the United States.”
