Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched service from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Oslo, Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark, the company said.
Copenhagen and Oslo represent MIA´s second and third destinations in the Scandinavian region, and bring the number of MIA´s European routes to 22. The year-round service will be served by Airbus 330-200 aircraft that feature cabins seating as many as 236 passengers.
Oslo and Copenhagen join Helsinki, Finland as the other northern European destination with nonstop service from MIA, with the latter served by Finnair.
Scandinavian Airlines carries more than 28 million passengers annually, with close to 1,000 daily flights to 127 destinations in 36 countries in Scandinavia, Europe, the US and Asia.
