Samsung Galaxy S8 will be faster on T-Mobile's advanced LTE network

Samsung´s most advanced superphones are coming to T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) where they will be the first to tap into the combined power of three T-Mobile advanced LTE technologies and can deliver up to double current speeds on what is already America´s fastest LTE network, the company said.

Samsung´s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be the first smartphones ever to simultaneously harness the power of three advanced LTE technologies already built in to the T-Mobile network–including 4×4 MIMO, carrier aggregation and 256 QAM. Only the Un-carrier´s network has this trifecta of speed-boosting technologies.

T-Mobile achieved a global first with the rollout of 4×4 MIMO last year, and has launched more LTE Advanced technologies than anyone else in the industry.

T-Mobile US delivers wireless experiences to more than 71.5m customers. Based in Bellevue, Washington, T-Mobile US provides services through its subsidiaries and operates its flagship brands, T-Mobile and MetroPCS.
