Etihad Airways has introduced technology powered by Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR) enabling passengers to purchase customized fares, the company said.
The national airline of the United Arab Emirates operates more than 1,000 flights per week to over 120 destinations worldwide. Sabre´s branded fares will enable it to market and sell its roster of fares globally through the Sabre travel marketplace, reaching more than 425,000 travel agents globally including Sabre´s growing network in Asia, propelled by the acquisition of the former Abacus operations, which Sabre acquired in July 2015.
Sabre Corporation is a technology provider to the global travel industry. Sabre´s software, data, mobile and distribution solutions are used by airlines and hotel properties to manage critical operations, including passenger and guest reservations, revenue management, flight, network and crew management. Sabre also operates a travel marketplace, which processes more than USD120 billion of estimated travel annually.
