Royal Air Force explores UK's approach to military flight training

SMi has reported Royal Air Force (RAF) air commodore David Bentley, director of flight training will cover new techniques and approaches to flight training across the armed forces; the latest updates for fast jet, rotary, and fixed-wing platforms; and recent case studies of successful pilot integration into front line squadrons as part of the UK Military Flight Training System program, the company said.

Airbus Helicopters will shortly begin ground tests on the first of 29 H135 platforms in mid-July. With the current focus and more than a billion pounds being invested by the Ministry of Defence to continue the modernisation of military flying training in the UK, SMi´s 5th Military Flight Training Conference and Exhibition will provide a platform to discuss strategies in enhancing training application and new technologies to meet the demands of 21st Century flying missions.
