Cloud messaging provider Retarus has been awarded a NASPO ValuePoint Master Agreement for Cloud Services, the company said.
On September 30, 2016, the Lead State – State of Utah Division of Purchasing and NASPO ValuePoint presented a 10-year contract to Retarus following a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, specifically for its Cloud Faxing services.
The newly acquired master agreement award allows participating US states, territories, and authorized public entities to access and procure Retarus´ cloud managed solutions expeditiously.
ValuePoint´s multi-state collaboration through cooperative purchasing reduces the number of competitive bids and RFPs that states need to issue to receive benefits of cloud service providers. ValuePoint´s cooperative procurements result in awards to premium quality cloud-based service providers helping states, local governments, schools and authorized public entities increase the overall efficiency of the technology departments, as well as improve IT service delivery through reliable and secure cloud-based solutions.
This master agreement aims to improve operational scalability of states, territories and authorized subdivisions by reducing costs, providing business continuity, increasing collaborative efficiencies and expanding flexibility in work practices.
Retarus received an award of NASPO ValuePoint master agreement along with 37 other vendors offering competitively priced cloud solutions to help governments become more agile in deployment of technology solutions.
The initial term of this contract is 10 years.
Retarus provides professional messaging solutions, offering services for electronic corporate communications since 1992. Retarus´ solutions optimize business process communications, ensuring business continuity and highest levels of security and performance.
