Qingdao Airlines has selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower geared turbofan (GTF) engine to power its order of 18 firm Airbus A320neo family aircraft, the company said.
The PurePower Geared Turbofan Engine family has more than 8,400 orders, including announced and unannounced firm and option engines, with more than 80 customers from more than 30 countries. GTF engines have earned more than 30,000 revenue hours and more than 20,000 take-offs and landings.
