Procera Networks has become a member of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) in order to better participate in the discussion around ensuring high quality experience on WI-Fi networks for consumers, the company said.
Wireless Broadband said as consumer data demand continues to grow, network operators find themselves increasingly turning toward universal wireless connectivity to help meet expectations.
The WBA brings together operators, vendors, and influencers from across the telecoms sector to drive the adoption of wireless broadband around the globe. The leading industry body also champions the development of these services and supporting the advancement of subscriber experience management for wireless broadband across the board.
Founded in 2003, the WBA has over 130 members including major fixed operators such as BT, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable.
Procera Networks has become a subscriber and network intelligence provider, helping operators monitor, manage, and monetize network traffic.
