Porter Airlines selects OpenAirlines solution to improve fuel efficiency

Porter Airlines has signed a partnership with OpenAirlines to use its innovative fuel efficiency platform, SkyBreathe, the software company said.

By this agreement, SkyBreathe will analyze billions of data on aircraft usage that cover a host of elements, and based on the collected data, the software computes fuel-focussed parameters and provides key performance indicators at the company and flight level.

Porter Airlines currently offers short-haul flights to 13 Canadian cities, and 5 US cities, and offers several seasonal flights in Canada and the US.

OpenAirlines offers innovative software solutions to save fuel (SkyBreathe), and to manage crews (CrewIntelligence and CrewPad) and fleet (OptiFleet).
