Plexxi, Perseus win innovation award

Application-defined data center infrastructure maker Plexxi and managed services for high speed connectivity provider Perseus received the Global Telecoms Business (GTB) Innovation Award for the World´s Largest Software Defined Network (SDN) at the GTB Innovation Awards 2016 in London, the company said.

The GTB Innovation Awards recognize collaboration between operators and vendors. This award acknowledges Plexxi and Perseus´ contribution in building the world´s largest SDN across six continents in just a matter of months, leveraging the Perseus global network and Plexxi´s next-generation networking and software toolsets.

The Perseus-Plexxi partnership pushes the boundaries of network innovation and improves the flexibility, scalability and agility of global networks. The GTB Innovation Awards are presented annually to the most innovative and exciting projects within the global telecoms industry.
