Streaming platform Playster has formed a partnership with multi-language publishing distributor StreetLib, the company said.
The partnership brings another 90,000 eBooks to Playster, including titles from independent and self-published authors. The eBooks will be available to users in the coming weeks and can be downloaded to mobile devices for offline reading.
The partnership with StreetLib extends Playster´s efforts to include independent publishers and self-published authors looking to have their books available on subscription platforms.
In a further pledge of support to authors and publishers, Playster announced the introduction of the Playster Affiliate Program, enabling authors-publishers to earn additional revenue by promoting their available titles on the service. The program allows authors-publishers to earn in two ways — when Playster members read their titles on Playster, and when they participate in promoting new subscribers to Playster.
Playster provides unlimited movies, television series, music, video games, audiobooks, and eBooks. It works on virtually any Internet-enabled device in a browser or via the Android and iOS apps. US customers who subscribe to a 12-month membership receive a Playster Combo Box including a 7-inch Android tablet and headphones.
