Persian-language Manoto TV switches to Eutelsat satellites

Manoto TV, the Persian-language channel, has completed its switch in SD and HD versions to the EUTELSAT 7B satellite operated by Eutelsat Communications (Paris:ETL), the company said.

The channel is now available exclusively from Eutelsat´s HOTBIRD satellites and EUTELSAT 7B that together form a single neighbourhood for Persian-speaking viewers in Europe, the Middle East and Iran.

Broadcasting documentaries, films, series, original entertainment and news, the London-based free-to-air channel owned by Marjan Television Network has rapidly gained market share since its launch on HOTBIRD in 2010.

Established in 1977, Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL, ISIN code: FR0010221234) operates communications satellites. The company provides capacity on 39 satellites to clients that include broadcasters and broadcasting associations, pay-TV operators, video, data and Internet service providers, enterprises and government agencies.
