Penton´s Aviation Week Network and SpeedNews Conferences have planned to unite senior industry leaders from major manufacturing, supply chain and logistics companies to discuss capabilities, and techniques for improvement at every tier of the supply chain in commercial aerospace manufacturing, the network said.
The commercial aerospace manufacturing briefing is co-located with the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow. The briefing is expected to examine how technological advancements can improve operational and manufacturing performance; review best practices for supply chain synchronization and improved service levels; and investigate how supply chain slow-downs can impact the provision of finance, aircraft values, and the survival of Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies.
