PCI Aviation opens in Huntsville, Alabama

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians has announced the opening of PCI Aviation in Huntsville, Alabama, the tribe said.

PCI Aviation´s core mission is to keep US military aircraft working efficiently and safely. It will initially specialize in the fabrication of cables and wiring harnesses manufactured to precise specifications to perform essential aircraft functions.

The company is a SBA certified 8(a) minority-owned company formed by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians Tribal Council in June of 2016.

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians is the only federally recognized Indian tribe in the state of Alabama, operating as a sovereign nation with its own system of government and bylaws. The tribe operates a variety of economic enterprises, which employ hundreds of area residents.

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians is an active partner in the state of Alabama, contributing to economic, educational, social and cultural projects benefiting both tribal members and residents of these local communities and neighboring towns.
