Parker Aerospace, a business segment of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global provider of motion and control technologies, has announced that its ACE Services facility has obtained Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) certification, the company said.
Located in Singapore, ACE Services is a joint venture between Parker Aerospace and SIA Engineering company, Ltd, and the center of excellence for the repair and overhaul of aerospace hydraulic components in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Parker Aerospace has a strong presence throughout the Asia Pacific region, with multiple joint ventures to serve customers, under the direction of Fergus Lopez, the executive director for Asia Pacific commercial aftermarket business.
The certification allows ACE Services to repair and release flight critical equipment with full JCAB approval to Japanese operators and aggregators, creating added operational efficiencies for them.
ACE Services specializes in the repair and overhaul of flight control actuators, power control units, thrust reverser and landing gear actuators, valves, and pumps for the Boeing 737, 747, 757, 777, and 787 and Airbus A319, A320, A330, and A380 aircraft.
