Plug and Play, a startup accelerator, has collaborated with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to help select startups working on the next generation of travel and hospitality products and services, the company said.
Plug and Play Travel & Hospitality will use Panasonic Avionic to select 20-30 startups in each of its two travel and hospitality classes of 2016. Startups accepted into the three-month program will receive mentor opportunities with leaders in the travel and hospitality space across all verticals including airlines, online travel agencies, hotels, cruise lines and global distribution systems.
Panasonic Avionics Corporation is a supplier of inflight entertainment and communication systems. Headquartered in Lake Forest, California, the company has delivered over 8,000 IFE systems and 1,000 inflight connectivity solutions to airlines.
Plug and Play Tech Center is a large global technology accelerator and venture fund that provides necessary resources to succeed in Silicon Valley. Companies in the community have raised over USD3.5 billion in funding.
