PacStar reaches 75,000 wireless access points delivered

PacStar®, a developer and supplier of advanced communications solutions for the US Department of Defense (DoD), has announced the delivery of its 75,000th wireless access point to programs including the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Defense Health Agency (DHA) and US Army Reserve Command (USARC), the company said.

PacStar´s delivery is based on the highly regarded Wi-Fi mobility infrastructure from Aruba Networks (A Hewlett-Packard Enterprise company).

PacStar reached this milestone by installing over 10,000 access points in the last two years, fielding teams in over 14 different countries across North America, Europe and Asia. PacStar completed each installation on time or ahead of schedule and on budget, despite unexpected challenges such as delays due to conflicts in site schedules and work stoppages caused by a typhoon. Site staff praised PacStar installers for completing projects quickly, efficiently and quietly, with no operational friction and low management burden.
