Overseas regulators to oversee changes on Max design

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced overseas regulators will help avoid a splintering of the design-change approval to the Boeing 737 Max, the administration said.

The FAA said there needs to be a distinction between design approval and the operational process associated with un-grounding.

Overseas authorities will not necessarily permit local operators to reintroduce their 737 Max fleets simultaneously with FAA approval of the design changes.
