OSI Systems gets USD 23m service contract extension from US DoD

OSI Systems, Inc.´s (NASDAQ: OSIS) security division has received a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) two-year contract extension from the US Department of Defense valued at approximately USD 23m to provide training, service and logistics support for its Rapiscan cargo and vehicle inspection systems, the company said.

OSI Systems, Inc. is a vertically integrated designer and manufacturer of specialized electronic systems and components for critical applications in the homeland security, healthcare, defense and aerospace industries.

The company has more than 40 years of electronics engineering and manufacturing experience with offices and production facilities in more than a dozen countries to implement a strategy of expansion into selective end product markets.
