Armed with this intelligence, customer service, marketing, planning, T&D operations and other key business functions can achieve significant benefits.
For the first time, utilities can combine location with highly personalized utility analytics to quickly pinpoint and map relationships among consumption profiles and thereby uncover important new business operations insights.
A few examples include locating pockets of abnormally high energy usage, identifying contributing factors for poor demand response program retention, pinpointing customers most likely to achieve the highest demand response results and spatially identifying areas with high solar or EV penetration.
Customers and their energy usage can now be geographically visualized at any desired level of granularity, from individual household, to feeder to entire service area.
