OneJet adds nonstop destinations from Pittsburgh

OneJet has signed a financing agreement with the State of Pennsylvania and the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County designed to accelerate deployment of OneJet´s nonstop air service from Pittsburgh International Airport, the company said.

The company plans to operate a total of 10 additional nonstop destinations, deployed in a metered sequence over the next two years, with routes specifically designed to meet the needs of some of Pittsburgh´s largest corporate employers.

OneJet will add additional routes from Pittsburgh to Louisville, Kentucky beginning July 18 and to Cincinnati, Ohio beginning August 15. Louisville, KY service will begin on July 18 and Cincinnati, OH service will begin on August 15.

The State of Pennsylvania and the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County will provide USD500,000 each in loans to support necessary investments in employees, equipment, and infrastructure. The partnership follows alongside private investment from local corporate leadership, including that of James Rohr, former Chairman of PNC, and Thomas Tull, co-owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, with a private/public commitment of USD2.5M in total.
