Nyansa, Inc. has reported the results of its analysis of more than 80 billion client device events that occurred across live business networks using Nyansa´s Voyance network analytics service, the company said.
The report provides objective analysis based on real-world enterprise network traffic trends, detailing connectivity issues that organizations face and their impact on the user experience.
The company found 64 percent of client device issues were related to Wi-Fi, 13 percent were related to RADIUS authentication glitches and 12 percent were related to and DHCP (dynamic host configuration protocol). Other common client devices issues included DNS issues ARP (address resolution protocol) irregularities.
The results are based on the correlation of three months worth of raw wired and wireless network data examined within Nyansa´s Voyance analytics cloud service following its launch in April. Since that time, Voyance has analyzed over 80 billion client-related network transaction events and detected over 345,000 incidents across over 50 live production enterprise networks, comprised of more than 50,000 wireless access points and wired switches.
