Northrop Grumman space camp scholarships promote space exploration

Northrop Grumman Foundation has sponsored scholarships for middle school students and teachers from 20 states across the US, the United Kingdom and Australia to attend Space Camp at the US Space and Rocket Center (USSRC) in Huntsville, Alabama, the company said.

The company said this is the eighth year that the Northrop Grumman Foundation is funding student and teacher participation.

The sponsorship is part of the Northrop Grumman Foundation´s K-12 initiative, which aims to advance excellence in STEM education by encouraging and supporting students and teachers from elementary school through high school.

Northrop Grumman and the Northrop Grumman provide funding to sustainable STEM programs that span from preschool to high school and through collegiate levels, with a major emphasis on middle school students and teachers.
