Northrop Grumman receives DOD Nunn-Perry Award

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has received the Nunn-Perry Award from the Department of Defense (DOD) for outstanding achievement in the Mentor-Protégé Program, the company said.

Since 1991, the Department of Defense Mentor-Protege Program has offered assistance to small disadvantaged businesses (proteges) in competing for prime contract and subcontract awards by partnering proteges with large companies (mentors) under individual, project-based agreements.

The award was given to the team of Northrop Grumman and Davidson Technologies Inc., a woman-owned small business providing engineering, technical and management solutions for defense, aerospace and commercial customers. The mentor-protégé agreement was signed under the Missile Defense Agency´s Joint National Integration Center Research Development Contract (JRDC).
