Northrop Grumman delivers 2-axis digital sensor

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has delivered its new LRS-2003 two-axis rate sensor, the company said.

The company said the first application of the LRS-2003 will be to stabilize a mast-mounted sensor suite for a ground vehicle. It is derived from the LRS-200X family of rate sensors, and is a two-axis rate sensor for platform and gimbal stabilization, electro-optical/infrared camera, radar, gun and turret stabilization, remote weapons stations and missile, torpedo and ground vehicle applications.
