Northrop Grumman awarded IDIQ contract from USAF to sustain missile warning network

Northrop Grumman Corporation (YSE: NOC) as announced the U.S. Air Force has awarded it a contract valued at USD 866m to sustain and modify a worldwide network of ground-based radars deemed critical to the success of its missile warning/missile defense and space-tracking missions, the company said.

The competitively awarded Sustainment and Modification of Radar Sensors (SMORS) contract has a seven-year period of performance.
