National Mediation Board (NMB) has dismissed challenges filed by Flexjet and Flight Options against the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the board said.
Allegations stem from a December 2015 election where the Teamsters were chosen to represent Flexjet and Flight Options pilots as a single unit when the two companies merged under the umbrella of One Sky, LLC. The company´s challenges alleged that the Teamsters interfered in the representation election, tainting laboratory conditions. The NMB dismissed these charges finding that the company had failed to state a prima facie case of interference.
Founded in 1903, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters represents 1.4 million men and women throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
