NLC report highlights info cities need when regulating drones

The National League of Cities (NLC) has released Cities and Drones, a new report that provides cities with insight on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules relating to drone operation, the company said.

The report provides suggestions for how local governments can craft their own drone ordinances to encourage innovation while also protecting their cities. The report said there are three spheres of drone activity that city officials must tackle: private use, public use and commercial use.
The National League of Cities (NLC) is a resource and advocate for 19,000 cities, towns and villages, representing more than 218 million Americans.
