Nigerian government to fine airlines that airlift passenger without COVID-19 test result

Daily Post has reported the Nigerian federal government has announced airlines that airlift passengers without a negative COVID-19 test result, would be fined NGN 3,500 per passenger, the news source said.

New protocols, which start on August 29, require passengers coming into the country must present a PCR COVID-19 test result that was within seven days.

Passengers who arrive in Nigeria and present a PCR negative result, are expected to self-isolate for seven days and submit their COVID-19 test before reuniting with the community.
