NIAP common criteria certificate available for Klas Telecom CSfC solutions

The official National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) Common Criteria Certificate for Klas Telecom´s rugged VoyagerESm network switching device, a key component in the Voyager Executive Communications Kit (VoyagerECK), is now available on the NIAP Product Compliant List (PCL), the company said.

The certificate approves the company´s products for use in the NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program that enables commercial of the shelf (COTS) technology to be used in layered solutions that protect classified information. Leveraging Klas Telecom CSfC solutions, government customers can transmit classified information wirelessly, reducing the physical load they have to carry during deployments. Reducing hardware footprint lowers equipment costs and simplifies logistics, equipment handling and security procedures. Using layered software encryption also increases interoperability with partner and coalition nations.
