Mobile Heartbeat was selected by NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP) for secure smartphone application as its clinical communications platform, the company said.
The platform enables NYP to provide improved voice, secure texting, and paging between NYP´s clinicians and integrate with a number of the hospital´s existing IT systems. As a smartphone-based solution leveraging existing systems, MH-CURE enables significantly improved workflows.
Mobile Heartbeat uses smartphones to improve clinical workflow and provide secure team communications, delivering better patient care at a lower cost. Mobile Heartbeat consolidates clinical communications, including alarms and notifications, pertinent patient information, lab data, texting, voice and photography. Based upon its Clinical Urgent REsponse (CURE) technology, Mobile Heartbeat provides a real-time clinical team directory that efficiently connects all members of a patient´s care team inside and outside the hospital as well as across multiple facilities.
