NEC Makes All-New Univerge Blue Connect and Engage Available in Canada

NEC Corporation (NEC), a provider and integrator of advanced IT, communications, networking and biometric solutions, has announced the general availability of NEC UNIVERGE BLUE® CONNECT, a fully integrated and born-in-the-cloud unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solution, and NEC UNIVERGE BLUE® ENGAGE, a contact center as a service (CCaaS) solution for businesses of all sizes, in Canada, the company said.

The general availability of the all new UNIVERGE BLUE in Canada represents a significant step in NEC´s rapid global expansion of its cloud-based communication and collaboration services. In less than eight weeks since announcing a global strategic partnership with cloud communications provider Intermedia, NEC has successfully launched UNIVERGE BLUE in both Canada and the US, and is continuing its plans to roll out globally.

NEC UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT and UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE are designed for businesses of all sizes, from enterprise to SMB. Early partner and customer feedback is overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating a widespread need among US and Canadian businesses for flexible and adaptable solutions that can support the sudden shift to a distributed workforce.

UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT and ENGAGE are now generally available for NEC´s Canadian and US Business Channel Partner Community and customers. This announcement represents phase two of a worldwide rollout during 2020 that will ultimately include partners around the globe by 2021.

NEC is also offering UNIVERGE BLUE® MEET PRO, NEC´s powerful standalone video conferencing tool, to all NEC customers in North America free of charge until 2021.
