NASA to provide update on Artemis project

NASA has announced it is providing an update on its Artemis program and the role international partnerships have in returning astronauts to the Moon and going on to Mars, the agency said.

The discussion, entitled From the Moon to Mars: NASA´s Artemis Program, occured during Public Day at the 70th International Astronautical Conference, taking place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is an independent agency of the United States Federal Government responsible for the civilian space program, as well as aeronautics and aerospace research. NASA was established in 1958, succeeding the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics.
