NASA awards contract for flight dynamics support services contract to OPR

NASA has announced it has awarded awarded the Flight Dynamics Support Services (FDSS) III contract to Maryland-based OPR, LLC, to provide flight dynamics support services to, and related service support for, the Engineering and Technology Directorate´s Mission and Systems Analysis Division at NASA´s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, the company said.

The cost-plus-fixed fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a minimum ordering value of USD 3 million and a maximum ordering value of USD 165 million. The contract began Sept. 2 with a 60-day phase-in period, followed by a five-year ordering period starting Nov. 1.

OPR, LLC will provide for the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions.
