Mojo Networks, Edgecore Networks deploy large-scale open WiFi

Mojo Networks, the inventor of Cognitive WiFiâ„¢ and a provider of cloud-managed wireless networking, has partnered with Edgecore Networks and The Open Compute Project Foundation to deploy the world´s first large-scale “Open WiFi” network, the company said.

Mojo´s Cognitive WiFi serves as a network operating system (NOS) for wireless access points from Edgecore Networks.

Mojo Networks first joined the Open Compute Project in 2017 and has since launched two enterprise-grade, SDK-enabled, Wave 2 802.11ac access points based on ONIE (Open Network Install Environment) open standards.
