Miracle Flights ended the month of March with a record number of coordinated flights–745– to hospitals and doctors around the country, the company said.
The nonprofit has seen a steady increase in March flight requests over the past 3 years, growing from 520 to 601, to 745, respectively.
Since 1985, Miracle Flights has provided free commercial airline tickets so that seriously ill patients may receive specialized medical care and second opinions from experts throughout the US Each year the nonprofit helps more and more families, quickly approaching their 100,000th flight.
Miracle Flights is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free medical air transportation via commercial airlines throughout the United States. Now in its 30th year of operation, Miracle Flights has coordinated more than 97,000 flights and counting.
