Miracle Flights said it has launched its “Flight. Thrive. Five Campaign” in honor of Giving Tuesday.
The campaign will match every dollar donated up to USD5,000 for sick children in need of specialized medical care.
Flight: For over 30 yrs., Miracle Flights has provided qualified applicants with as many flights as needed for consultations, treatment and second opinions that may be unavailable nearby.
Thrive: A gift of flight could help a child thrive and see adulthood. The average cost of a flight is approximately USD500, that´ USD.78 a mile.
Five: There are over 7,000 know rare diseases affecting over 15 million children in the US alone. Sadly, many will not live to see their fifth birthday.
Miracle Flights is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free medical air transportation via commercial airlines throughout the United States. Now in its 30th year of operation, Miracle Flights has coordinated more than 96,000 flights and counting.
