Miracle Flights initiates match campaign to benefit sick children

In honor of #GivingTuesday, national medical flight charity Miracle Flights has launched a USD6,000 match campaign to benefit sick children in need of out-of-state medical care, the company said.

Until Jan. 1, every dollar donated to the nonprofit will be doubled, providing double the miles to kids battling rare cancers and conditions.

Since 1985, Miracle Flights has coordinated over 104,000 flights and traveled over 58 million miles, bridging the distance gap between sick children and the doctors who can best help them. Plane tickets are provided at no cost to the families and as many times as necessary.

Miracle Flights is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free medical air transportation via commercial airlines throughout the United States. With over three decades of service to families in need, Miracle Flights has coordinated more than 100,000 flights and counting.
