LOT Polish Airlines has announced it plans to launch nonstop passenger service between Miami and Warsaw on June 1, 2019, the company said.
The service will give Miami International Airport (MIA) the only nonstop route between Florida and Eastern Europe, as well as the airport´s first service to Poland, the company said.
Warsaw will further expand MIA´s current network of 20 European destinations, while Miami will join LOT´s five other nonstop destinations in North America.
LOT will operate four weekly flights with new generation B787-8 Dreamliner aircraft that seat 252 passengers. LOT´s hub operation at Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) provides passengers more than 350 daily flights to 100 destinations worldwide, as well as extensive connections throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Miami International Airport offers more flights to Latin America and the Caribbean than any other US airport, is America´s third-busiest airport for international passengers, boasts a lineup of more than 100 air carriers and is the top US airport for international freight.
