Miami Air flight attendants vote to ratify new contract

Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), representing Miami Air Flight Attendants has announced the flight attendants have voted to ratify a new contract, the association said.

The 5-year agreement, ratified by 93% of the flight attendants, provides immediate pay raises and per diem, and improved work rules for over 100 Flight Attendants.

Negotiations began in January 2015. The the National Mediation Board has overseen negotiations through mediation since December 2015. Flight Attendants overwhelmingly authorized a strike in October 2017.

Miami Air is a charter airline, privately owned by TSI Holding Company of St. Louis, MO, operating flights for vacation tour companies and major sports teams including for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers, Miami Dolphins and Heat, Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils.
