Mekanism to lead Alaska Airlines advertising

Alaska Airlines has named award-winning agency Mekanism as its new advertising agency of record, the company said.

Mekanism has more than 100 employees across offices in San Francisco and New York, and key clients that include Pepsi, MillerCoors, Ben & Jerry´s, Charles Schwab, The North Face and the White House.

Founded in 2000, Mekanism has been named to several Ad Age A-lists including its coveted Creativity Top 50 creative companies, and has won dozens of industry awards.

Alaska recently unveiled a new brand identity and refresh created by global brand agency Hornall Anderson. The revamp, announced last week, includes a new signature wordmark, logo, color palette, and graphic language.

Alaska Airlines, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group (NYSE: ALK), together with its partner regional airlines, serves more than 100 cities through an expansive network in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica.
