MEIZU releases smartphone with Sony Exmore camera

MEIZU has launched its latest MX series product, MEIZU MX6 with a Sony Exmore RX IMX 386 camera, the company said.

The company said the latest product comes with a number of tech upgrades from previous products, including a Sony camera with a customized six-element lens and face auto-exposure algorithm, TDDI solution and full in-cell screen access.

MEIZU also adopts touch and display driver integration (TDDI) technology in the MX6. Instead of using two ICs for touch and display driving respectively, TDDI technology integrates touch and display driving in one chip, reducing power consumption during operation.

Other features include a MediaTek flagship processor, Helio X20, the world´s first mobile processor with a 10-core Tri-cluster structure. The Tri-cluster structure of the Helio X20 enables dynamic switching among modules based on different task demands.

The MX6 is also equipped with a T880 GPU, which increases the unit performance by 80 percent and energy efficiency by 40 percent compared to previous T760.

MEIZU is a smartphone maker and mobile Internet brand in China.
