MCAS Miramar Air Show celebrates 100 years of the Marine Corps Reserve

The Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, has extended an invitation to the San Diego community to the 2016 MCAS Miramar Air Show, themed “Celebrating 100 Years of the Marine Corps Reserve,” the company said.

The air show, which takes place September 23-25, will host a lineup of military and civilian performers, including the US Navy Blue Angels. Civilian Breitling L-39 Jet Team will perform along with US Navy Leap Frogs, US Army Golden Nights and the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF).

The United States Marine Corps reserves are comprised of more than 109,000 men and women who maintain the Corps´ combat readiness and its ability to provide a balanced and prepared force.
